Leon Knight is VP, Finance of Chesswood Group and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Chesswood Canadian Asset-Backed Credit Fund.

Before Chesswood, Leon most recently spent seven years at Gluskin Sheff + Associates as VP & Portfolio Manager working across the company’s fixed income and equity products, including management of the firm’s Resource Fund. Leon also worked as part of the investment teams that managed the firm’s leveraged credit, high yield fixed income and leveraged loan products.

Prior thereto, Leon was COO and Portfolio Manager of a Calgary-based energy hedge fund for five years after spending seven years in the institutional equity research group within an energy-focused investment boutique.
